This Week at Stanway Primary School!
It's been another fantastic week of learning, creativity and curiosity across the school!
Year 3
The children have been exploring the important topic of racism and discussing what it means to belong to a fair, respectful and inclusive community. We are incredibly proud of their insight, compassion and enthusiasm as they help us continue to make Stanway Primary a welcoming place for everyone.
Year 4
Our budding poets have been diving into the world of Haikus! They've explored a range of examples, shared ideas and have begun gathering wonderful thoughts and imagery to create their very own Haiku poems.
Year 5
Year 5 continued their work on the Titanic in English, uncovering more about this fascinating historical event. In Computing, there was lots of excitement as they programmed Micro:bits to create their own Rock, Paper, Scissors games!
Year 6
This week, Year 6 have been producing their own information texts inspired by Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In History, they were thrilled to welcome a very special visitor Dr John Snow to learn about his groundbreaking achievements.
Well done to all our pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm. We're so proud of everything you do!
