What a Fantastic Week !
Our children have had an amazing start to the new school year, settling into their new classes, making new friends and embracing new routines with confidence and enthusiasm!
EYFS have settled brilliantly, made new friends, explored their learning areas and learned about their feelings through The Colour Monster. They have shown great bravery joining OPAL play and spending time with their wonderful Year 6 buddies.
Year 1 have had a fantastic start, practising Maths and phonics, learning about the human body, exploring nouns and enjoying their new dance unit.
Year 2 have been busy making friends, sharing summer memories, exploring two-digit numbers and learning about the continents of the world.
Across the school, it has been wonderful to see so many smiling faces, positive attitudes and children showing courage, kindness and determination.
A huge well done to all of our pupils for such a successful first week. We can't wait to see what this year brings!
