🌟 Another wonderful week of learning! 🌟
🐯 Reception enjoyed a roaring tiger-themed week, creating masks, painting with marbles, making playdough treats and using their imaginations in Drawing Club to catch an escaped tiger! They also explored numbers 1, 2 and 3, investigated 2D shapes, and enjoyed a special assembly with the Open the Book team. 📖
🌾 Year 1 started The Little Red Hen, developed their descriptive vocabulary, compared and ordered numbers, and began making recycled-material toys. A highlight was welcoming grandparents into school to share memories of their favourite toys. 👵👴 They also enjoyed a fun and interactive No Pens Day. 🗣🎉
🦦 Year 2 wrote fantastic 'Lost' posters for Sunny the Meerkat, using detailed descriptions and expanded vocabulary. They learned about compass points in Geography 🧭 and continued experimenting with Pointillism in Art, exploring how dots can create different shades and effects. 🎨
👏 Well done to all our pupils for another week of creativity, hard work and enthusiasm! Have a lovely weekend everyone! 🌈😊
